Basic technique lesson

1.-Basic movement

Crossing - consists of passing the inner bobbin of the lef-hand pair over the inner bobbin of the right-hand pair. This movement therefore always requires both hands and two pairs of bobbin.

Twisting - is the process of passing the right-hand bobbin of each pair over the left-hand bobbin of the same pair.This movement is always done with one hand.

2.-Hanging on pairs - Cloth stitch

3.-Cloth stitch, on one side - pin between two pairs

4.Point ground

5.Point ground - gimp inserting

6.Gimp inserting - honeycomb stitch

7.Honeycomb stitch

8.Change from cloth stitch to point ground, gimp and honeycomb stitch
Note : of gimp single twist on point ground side

HOW TO MAKE LACE

Beginning

with 22 pairs + 1 pair - gimp (in the centre)

Continuing
