22th Vila do Conde National Handycraft Fair
The oppening will happen on July the 24th at 3 pm, and we will count with the presence of the Prime Minister Eng.º António Guterres. More than a simple exhibition or a simple fair, this is the biggest party of the portuguese Traditinal and Popular Art, with more than a hundred councils, the Autonomic Regions of Azores and Madeira, and more than 150 artisans. Every day we count with a diferent animation, which is popular portuguese music. The Gastronomic journeys are another important part of this event. Here you can eat the food of diferent regions of Portugal. This year the outstanding theme is the TIMOR HANDYCRAFT. The LACEMAKER DAY will happen at August the 1st , and it can show us why the Bobbin Lace is one of the Vila do Conde "ex-libris".
"COZINHA PORTUGUESA" PORTUGUESE CUISINE At the Júlio Graça Gardens, in Vila do Conde, between the 21st and the 29th of August will happen the 1st PORTUGUESE CUISINE FAIR. This fair will count with two restaurants, and several dainty dishes, with the gastronomy of diferent regions of portugal, as well as diferent stands with cheeses, sausages, wines and sweets. Other activities will happen, like literaries activities. We hope that this fair could be a success. |
