The Town Council of Vamberk will arrange the VI. International Lace-Makers Meeting in the co-operation with the Art Educational Institute Prague , the Okresni muzeum Orlickych hor (The Eagle Mountains Museum) Rychnov nad Kneznou the Lace Museum Vamberk (vkm.net) and the co-operative Vambereck· krajka Vamberk

This event will be held on July 2 - 6, 1999.

You can see there the traditional lace exhibitions and demonstrations of making bobbin-lace, fashion shows and other activities

• The Branch of SUUV Vamberk: the exhibition of works from SUUV branches and The 110th anniversary of the Vamberk branch

Black lace

Museum in Ceske Budejovice town (Jihoceske muzeum - Museum of South of Bohemia, Ceske Budejovice ) exhorts all lace-makers: help us. We hold 200 years old tradition of black  rudolfovske lace, but we have not any. Who can lace-make and who can present lace, picture, jewellery or something else made from black thread, please, send it to address:

The Lace Museum Vamberk will be realise special seminar about international project BLEN. It will be take place at the Town Club Sokolovna in Vamberk on Monday of July 5th 1999 (during the 6th International Meeting of Lace-Makers in Vamberk 1999).
